Young Soloist Auditions 2026

We are currently accepting applications for musicians aged 8-18 to perform a solo work with orchestral accompaniment on our upcoming Fall Concert on October 17, 2026.  All instruments are welcome. 

Your audition must show a portion of the work you would intend to perform.  Piano or other accompaniment is optional but recommended.

Repertoire guidelines: (1) please consider choosing a work that involves a standard symphony orchestra without many extra players; (2) choose a work whose score and parts are public domain and available for download, unless you intend to provide both.

Please submit a YouTube recording of your audition by June 30, 2026, via our online form. Guidelines for your YouTube submission: 
• YouTube settings: Must be public or unlisted. No private setting.
• Title section: Your name, age, and instrument.
• Description section: Piece performed. Include movement number, opus, composer.
• Please do not include the name of your music teacher, prizes won, or biography. 

We will announce the winners on our website in July. Thank you for auditioning with us!
