Nino Merabishvili

Nino was born in Tbilisi, the capital city of Republic of Georgia where she began her piano studies at age of seven. She gave her recital debut
with the State Georgia Orchestra when she was nine years old. Ms.
Merabishvili graduated from the Tbilisi State Conservatory with honors. She has performed extensively as a soloist and chamber musician in her native country as well as Russia and Eastern Europe. Among her teachers are T. Matureli, B. Zemlyansky, and Picket. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the University of Washington where she studies with professor Craig Sheppard. Schumann’s piano Concerto with the Eastside Symphony is her debut in USA.
