Kathy Forgrave

Grant High School, where Kathy first found herself surrounded by extremely talented musicians, was at that time sending more students to Julliard on scholarship than any other High School in the country except for the New York High School of the Performing Arts.  Alas, Kathy was not among them.  But that spirited environment left her with a lifelong love of orchestral music, a PTA music scholarship through the Los Angeles Unified School District and a music scholarship to the University of Puget Sound, where she taught flute to kids.  Since college, she has played with the Tacoma Concert Band, The Sumner Arts Festival pit orchestra and the Microsoft Theater Troupe pit orchestra.  She is currently a member of the Microsoft Orchestra, President of the Eastside Symphony and a founding member of the Pentaire Quintet.

Jack Lynch

Jack Lynch, MD, is a pediatrician in private practice. He studied clarinet under Harold Henderson, and did not accept a music scholarship at Syracuse University. He is the founder of the Pentaire Quintet, and also plays bass clarinet with the Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra, with the Northwest Mahler Festival Orchestra, and with the Island Sinfonia.

LaDonna Bowers

LaDonna Bowers, a native of Asheville, North Carolina, is a graduate of Capital University, Columbus, Ohio, and Union Theological Seminary in New York City.  Her music experience includes teaching organ and piano, accompanying choirs dedicated to performing major choral works, and various positions as church organist or Director of Music and Liturgy.  She has played several recitals including two at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York.  The Bach Society of Naples sponsored her in two recitals in Naples, Italy.  She has been organist at Bellevue First United Methodist Church since 1986.
