George Hoyt

Tuba soloist George Hoyt, who has played tuba since the 6th grade, is a graduate of Washington State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, where he studied with Dr. William Watson. Besides performing as a soloist, Mr. Hoyt has served as conductor, composer and arranger for various orchestras and bands in the Northwest and Alaska, as well as in the Air Force. He has played with various brass ensembles and orchestras, and has been playing the tuba for 40 years

Andre Dubelsten

Our Trumpet soloist, Andre Dubelsten, is a 13 year old from Ukraine via Canada, now residing in Portland. He is a student of Professor Gerald Webster, of Portland State University

Gary Anderson

Gary Anderson, who has played the violin for more than 30 years, is a graduate of Washington State University, University of Puget Sound and Western Washington University with degrees in Music Performance, Music Education and Computer Science. Mr. Anderson taught Instructional Music in the public schools for 6 years, and has also founded and directed community orchestras. He is currently Concertmaster of the Microsoft Symphony Orchestra and the Eastside Symphony.
