Grace "Sunnie" Reed began music lessons on the violin at age 3 and added
studies on the viola shortly after her 16th birthday. She attended the
University of Utah, majoring in viola performance under the tutelage of
Roberta Shulman-Zalkind, associate principal violist of the Utah Symphony.
Sunnie has performed with many ensembles, including the Utah Philharmonia,
the Salt Lake Symphony and the Dubuque (Iowa) Symphony. When not performing,
she enjoys her work as a 911 dispatcher in the south King County area. She
