After dropping French Horn after high school to pursue an engineering
career, thirty years later Peter Pawlak realized he still had a burning
passion for music. He took up trumpet six years ago, and now is thrilled to
be fulfilling his musical dreams playing with the Eastside Symphony, Tacoma
Musical Playhouse, and several of the Northwest Mahler Festivals. When not
performing, Peter is a senior analyst with Directions on Microsoft, a
research firm focused on the Redmond software giant, and also studies with
Brian Chin, principal trumpet of the Tacoma Symphony. He lives on Lake Tapps
with his wife Corey and children Katia, Natasha, and Ian, and thanks them
from the bottom of his heart for all their generous and loving support (and
tolerance for loud practicing!) without which his comeback would have been
impossible. |
