Casey Mullin, viola, has enjoyed an active performing
schedule since relocating to Seattle in August 2001. A native of the
Midwest, he spent his childhood years in Northeast Wisconsin, where he
attended Lawrence University as a student of Matthew Michelic. Casey
currently serves as Principal Violist for the Seattle Philharmonic
Orchestra, and as a section player for Philharmonia Northwest. Also an avid
chamber musician and freelancer, he is a perennial participant of the Green
Lake (Wisconsin) Festival’s chamber music program, where he has studied with
the Amelia Piano Trio and Avalon String Quartet, among others. Casey
currently studies with Helen Callus and anticipates continuing his education
at the University of Washington in the coming years, with a career goal in
performance. While not playing viola, Casey enjoys piano, reading, coffee
culture, and the outdoors. |
