Carl Peterson (age 17) of Bothell has played
percussion since he was seven years of age. He is in his second year
of Seattle Conservatory of Music, and currently studies with Rob Tucker and
Michael Crusoe. Carl shows a great love for orchestra playing and
currently plays in the Classic Cascade Symphony, Greenwood Concert Band, and
Seattle Youth Symphony where he is the section leader in the percussion
section. He has performed with Rainier Symphony, Mahler Festival,
Seattle Conservatory of Music’s Young Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra
Seattle and has played a concerto with Musicians Emeritus. He has
played on the radio with Classic King FM playing a recital featuring every
instrument of the percussion family. He has played in the Marrowstone
Music Festival for 5 years. Carl has also played in All State
orchestra in 9th and 10th and this year was selected to perform in All
Northwest. He is currently a student at Bothell high school. |
