Bethany
Chattin's love for music began when she started the piano at three years
old. She then followed her mother to the harp at age seven, studying for
nine years with renowned performer and teacher Lynne Palmer. At nineteen,
Bethany made her Carnegie Hall debut with the New England Symphonic Ensemble
under the direction of internationally acclaimed choral director Dr. Nancy
Menk. After graduating from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame,
Indiana, she was invited to spend a year traveling the globe, playing for
the world’s most elite clientele on the Queen Elizabeth 2 cruise liner.
Bethany recently returned to
Seattle to pursue her love for symphony, her true musical passion. She can
be found performing with area ensembles such as the Seattle Philharmonic,
the Everett Symphony, the Eastside Symphony, and various other venues around
the Pacific Northwest. |
