Mr. Kwiram is well known as a performer and conductor in the Northwest. He has appeared with Kitsap Opera and The Civic Light Opera as Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore, with the Everett Symphony and Northwest Opera in Schools, Etc. as Hoffman, with Mock’s Crest Productions as Colonel Fairfax in Yeoman of the Guard and in the title role of The Student Prince with Leavenworth Summer Theatre. He recently made his Seattle Opera solo debut in the role of the First Prisoner in Fidelio. Concert performances have included The Messiah, Elijah, the Mozart Requiem and Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music. Bernie has conducted with a number of northwest organizations including Satori Men’s Chorus, the Civic Light Opera Company and he is currently the music director of the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society. He is also a vocal instructor and is on the music faculty at Northwest College. |
