Kevin Morton moved from the Northern Bay area of California to
Seattle in 2001. Kevin is a member of the Northwest Sinfonietta, and enjoys
freelancing in other ensembles such as the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the
Tacoma Symphony and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. He received his Bachelor
of Music degree from The Eastman School of Music and a Master of Music
Degree from The San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Kevin’s primary
instructors included Peter Hadcock of the Boston Symphony, Rosario Mazzeo, a
world renowned teacher and former BSO musician, and David Newman of the San
Francisco Symphony. It is Kevin’s wish to explore his love of diverse
chamber music, as well as more orchestral work, and to teach privately on a
regular basis here in the beautiful Northwest. |
